In the past, extracting four premolars followed by orthodontic treatment was a standard approach to address crowding. However, this is no longer the preferred method. Dr. Connell employs advanced techniques in expansion and tooth movement to avoid extracting adult teeth whenever possible. This patient demonstrated excellent compliance with their customized treatment plan, ultimately achieving a beautiful smile without requiring extractions!

This smile was in active treatment from age 10 to 13. They were very diligent about following Doctor’s orders and making it to all of their appointments, resulting in a stunning outcome!

Are you aware that we offer complimentary monitoring of dental growth and development?
Dr. Connell believes growth guidance is crucial, which is why it's provided at no cost. The ideal age for a first appointment is around six or seven years old. Early intervention can lead to more efficient treatment, reduced treatment complexity, or potentially eliminate the need for orthodontic treatment altogether. The smile pictured below demonstrates the success of early intervention, with a patient treated from age 7 to 12. Their cooperation and diligence contributed significantly to the outcome!

Late night pantry restock! Please help us get the word out that the free little pantry is restocked!
Unfortunately someone took our sign off the door, but it is still open for you to take what you need and/or leave what you can. Lots of soups, Hormel dinners, oatmeal, spaghetti o’s…and of course pet food and hot cocoa ☕️ I’ve noticed the dog food goes almost as soon as it’s stocked, so if anyone wants to donate any pet food, I know that some good boy in Oak Creek would be very happy ❤️
