Dear Patients, Friends, and Colleagues,
It is with bittersweet emotions that I announce that after 37 years of dentistry, I am retiring from private practice. This has been a very difficult decision. I will miss all the wonderful friendships that I have enjoyed with you throughout these many years. Many of you are like family to me, and I want to thank you for allowing me to service your dental needs and be a part of your family.
I have searched for a long time, and I am confident that I have found just the right person to take over my practice; someone who will be able to continue providing you with the excellent comprehensive dentistry that you have become accustomed to. I am very excited to transition my practice to Dr. Jasmeet Kaur. You will find her to be a warm, caring, compassionate, and considerate person, and a highly skilled practitioner.
Dr. Kaur is a general dentist with over fifteen years of clinical experience providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages. A graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry, she is known for her meticulous attention to detail and a gentle approach focused on patient comfort.
Dr. Kaur offers a diverse range of services, including restorative and cosmetic dentistry, preventative care, and Invisalign. She utilizes advanced digital technology, such as iTero and TRIOS scanners, to ensure precise and comfortable treatment planning. Her extensive professional background – which spans leadership roles in private practice, clinical consulting, and quality review – informs her patient-centered approach.
Known for being an attentive listener, Dr. Kaur empowers her patients by clearly explaining their treatment options and providing the tools necessary for lifelong oral health. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family while continuing her education to remain at the forefront of dental innovation.
I look forward to working along with Dr. Kaur for the time being to ensure a smooth transition for my patients. This will allow me to introduce her to many of you. Importantly, our loyal, friendly staff that you love will still be there for you. Jen T (our dental hygienist), Jen B (our dental assistant), and Tracey (our office manager) will stay on to help both Dr. Kaur and me throughout the transition and beyond.
It has been my greatest honor and privilege to care for you and your family, and I want to thank you again for your loyalty, trust, and friendship over these many wonderful years; words simply cannot express all the gratitude that I feel. I wish peace, health, and prosperity to all of you and your families.
I look forward to spending more time with my family, my grandchildren, and traveling to new and exciting places. Although I will no longer be in private practice, I will continue teaching and mentoring in the post graduate program at Danbury Hospital, as I have for the past 38 years.
With Gratitude and Thanks,
Frank J. Romano, DMD
