Dr. Ben Iske was born in Omaha, Nebraska and raised about twenty-five miles southwest, in Springfield. He played a wide variety of sports and developed a love for the outdoors and rural living while growing up on the family farm. Dr. Iske earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University, where he studied biology, chemistry, and spanish and played football. He then attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in Lincoln and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. From Lincoln he moved to San Antonio, Texas and worked for the VA dental clinic as part of a one year intensive residency. Dr. Iske learned from some of the most renowned dental educators and specialists in topics such as periodontics, endodontics, implant dentistry, and restorative dentistry. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, music, fishing, and hunting. After growing up in a small town, he couldn't imagine a better fit for him than Western Nebraska. Not only is he able to enjoy his favorite pastimes, but he's privileged to practice dentistry, live in, and serve the wonderful Bridgeport community.
