🦷 A worn toothbrush is significantly less effective at removing plaque

The BIG Question... Braces or Clear aligners??? 🤨

It all depends on your bite and your routine! 🦷

🦷 Traditional braces are bonded in place, so they work around the clock with no effort from you. They're still the most versatile option for complex bites, severe crowding, and significant tooth movement — and they're usually the most cost-effective route. 😁

🦷 Clear aligners are nearly invisible and come out for meals, which makes eating and cleaning your teeth far simpler. They suit mild to moderate cases and often finish faster. However, they need to be in your mouth 20–22 hours a day to work. Skip that, and treatment stalls. 👻

🦷 One thing that's identical either way — retainers. Teeth drift back without them, no matter which appliance straightened them in the first place. 😬

We’re delighted to introduce Dr. Isabel, one of our orthodontic team members! 🦷✨

Dr. Isabel graduated in Dentistry from the University of the Basque Country in 2022 and is currently completing a three-year Master’s degree in Advanced Orthodontics at the European University of Madrid 🇪🇸

Since graduating, she has gained valuable clinical experience in both Spain and Ireland. Her focus is now on orthodontics, with experience in fixed braces, clear aligners and interceptive orthodontic treatments.

For Isabel, every smile is unique 💕 She takes the time to create personalised treatment plans and ensures her patients feel comfortable, supported and fully informed throughout their orthodontic journey — particularly when working with younger patients 😊
