🦷🎓 Remember to keep regular dental appointments.

”Children with poorer oral health status were more likely to experience dental pain, miss school, and perform poorly in school. These findings suggest that improving children's oral health status may be a vehicle to enhancing their educational experience.” https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3222359/

🚥Know the lights: Yellow flashing lights mean the bus is preparing to stop; red flashing lights and an extended stop arm mean you must stop completely.

🛑Stop in both directions: On undivided roads, traffic in both directions must stop for a school bus loading or unloading children.

🚌Maintain distance: Stop at least 20 feet away from the front or rear of a bus to give children a safe space cushion.

🚧Watch the danger zone: Remember that the 10-foot area surrounding a school bus is the most dangerous for children.

🦷✨ Don’t Forget Your Tongue! ✨🦷

We all know the importance of brushing and flossing, but how often do we remember to clean our tongues? Plaque can build up on your tongue just like it does on your teeth, and that can lead to bad breath and other oral health issues. 😬

To keep your mouth fresh and healthy, make sure to brush your tongue every time you brush your teeth. Your toothbrush can do the trick, but if you need a little extra help, consider using a tongue scraper. 🪥

And don’t forget to teach your kids this important step too! Just a few extra seconds after brushing can make a big difference in their oral hygiene routine.
