Everyone is probably scratching their head about this one! Aesthetics was not a priority but still happened anyways.

Patient presents with a fractured bridge on the left side. Soon looses all function and I’m sure you can guess why! NO TEETH!
-
Our patients highest priority was to be able to chew again without worry! And we listened. This was a carefully executed case. With focus on occlusion. We changed the occlusion without the need for orthodontics! Yes! Without orthodontics or a full mouth rehabilitation! Anything is possible when treatment plans are created with some out of the box thinking! The anteriors were just simply composite veneers.

When gum disease takes over it can be quite extreme. Your first signs are bleeding gums. There after things may progress to bone loss around the roots of the teeth and then loose teeth.

This amazingly wonderful patient went thru severe tooth loss over the years to gum disease and finally came to our office to get her function back and be able to smile again!

This was a reconstruction with 5 implants in upper and 5 in the lower and a full largest zirconia with porcelain overlay to bring her smile and function back to life!

Challenging single tooth case.
-
Failed implant surgeries have resulted in our patient running out of options for restoring a missing tooth.
-
This case has its own challenges. Here we used a Maryland bridge to restore a missing tooth as a place holder till our patient undergoes more grafting procedures for a future implant.
-
Maryland bridges though a great solution can have issues with debonding after a certain amount of chewing cycles or biting into something a little too hard.
