Think your dental implant is broken forever? Not always!🦷

This patient came in because her implant crown felt loose.
We took an X-ray and found the problem.
The tiny screw inside the implant had broken in half.
First, we removed the crown and the top piece of the broken screw.
Then, with careful work, we were able to retrieve the remaining broken piece from inside the implant.
Once everything was cleaned up, we scanned the implant scan body and will be creating a brand-new implant crown with a new screw.
The result? Her implant was restored without needing to replace the entire implant!😁
She left smiling and very happy with the outcome!

Most people think a broken implant means starting over. Not this time! 🦷✨

Remember, if your implant starts to feel loose, call your dentist right away!
