When a tooth grows in higher than the others, orthodontic treatment at Yamashiro Orthodontics can help guide it into place. Typically, braces or aligners are used to gently open space in the arch so the tooth has room to move down. Once there’s space, Dr. Yamashiro will apply light, controlled forces to gradually bring the tooth into alignment with the rest of the smile. Each treatment is different.
