One of my favorite things about advances in dentistry is being able to do more before a small problem becomes a bigger one.

“Let’s keep an eye on it” doesn’t always have to mean waiting for it to get worse. If I’ve ever told you we’re watching an area or you’ve noticed those frosty white spots on your teeth after braces, this is something worth knowing about.

The more options we have to intervene early and preserve your natural tooth structure, the better.

After so much planning, we are so excited to officially welcome you into our new Bothell Family Dentistry office. We created this space with our patients in mind and it means so much to finally be able to share it with the community that has supported us along the way.

Toddler toothbrushing can be a challenge… and I’m learning that firsthand too!

With my daughter, one thing that’s been working for us is showing her instead of just asking her. We practice brushing on one of her stuffed animals, then she watches us brush our own teeth, and suddenly she wants to give it a try too!

At this age, sometimes making brushing feel familiar, playful, and something the whole family does can make all the difference.

And as every parent knows, what works today might not work next month. We adjust, get creative, and keep trying!

One of the biggest Botox myths? That you’ll look frozen.

Botox and filler are often grouped together, but they work very differently. Botox relaxes targeted muscles, while filler is used to restore or add volume.

My goal with Botox is never to make you look like a different person. When thoughtfully placed, the result should be subtle and natural. You should still look like you, just a little more refreshed and relaxed.
