Happy Birthday, Dr. Caroline!
A celebration worthy of the Crescent City
Today we celebrate a woman who has somehow mastered the rare art of making people genuinely excited to go to the dentist.
(Yes, we said it. Yes, we mean it.)

When she's not performing miracles in the dental chair, you can find her in New Orleans — eating beignets, cheering on the Saints (Who Dat! 🏈), or convincing strangers that flossing is actually fun.

At home, she is loyally supervised by Tchoup and Roux — two dogs who have absolutely no interest in oral hygiene but are 100% supportive of her career. 🐾🐾

She bleeds purple and gold 🐯, volunteers her heart out at Holy Angels, and somehow manages to be the kindest, most patient boss in existence — which, considering she literally stares into people's mouths all day, is truly impressive.

We asked her patients to describe her in one word.
The answers: "Gentle." "Calming." "Wait — is it over already?!"

We had a fun time taking a break to attend the annual Arklatex Oral Surgery BBQ today!
(And Nicole is far from the worlds okay-est employee! 😆😆We'd be lost without her!)

Dr. Caroline spent the weekend in San Diego attending the Spear Summit dental meeting with Drs. Haynie and Digney, continuing their education and finding a little time for fun too!

Meet runway star, Tchoup! Broken out of Louisiana Baby Mama's rescue, Tchoupitoulas was given a new name and new identity in the Fall of 2019. His story is as long as the spelling of his name! After only a week, he commandeered his mother, Dr. Caroline Cobb's, king sized bed and has been attached to her hip ever since. Most days, Tchoup can be found at UVH co-conspiring with his brother Roux. Tchoup took Roux under his wings at daycare upon learning that he was given up and had no home to call his own. The two have been inseparable ever since and can be heard loudly on their walks with Mom in the neighborhood. Tchoup is very dapper and a lover, wanting to give kisses to anyone he meets. Our office will be open tomorrow at 8am. Thanks to Don Sonnier, the snow and ice slayer, for digging us out today and making paths safe for our patients! (Before and after pictures.)
