Exciting day giving a great patient his smile back!

Many patients ask us about “teeth in a day” or an “all on four”. This is a procedure where a patient and the restorative dentist have made the decision to remove their remaining teeth.

When a patient has made the decision to replace their teeth with something beyond a common removable denture, one of the options is an implant retained prosthesis as pictured below.

These are different from dentures in that they stay firmly in place, are not removable, and do not contain a portion that covers the roof of the mouth which can alter speech and taste.

Implants have the added benefit of preventing bone loss that commonly occurs with a traditional denture.

We would like to assure our patients that we have taken every measure recommended by the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and the CDC to protect our patients and our staff. Please call one of our numbers with any scheduling questions you may have.

Effective immediately, we are electing to temporarily close our offices to prevent any potential spread of COVID-19 as per the guidelines written by the American Dental Association. We will continue to treat patients requiring emergent treatment on an as needed basis. Our patients may call our office if they find they are in need of emergent care.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, however we feel it is our responsibility to do our part to decrease the potential spread of COVID-19. We are actively working to reschedule our patients.

Those working in the Dental field may be particularly vulnerable to coming in contact with the virus as it is spread via droplets from the respiratory tract. Creating an aerosol (as many dental procedures do) may in fact place those near an affected patient at risk.
Our concern is for our staff and their families, and those they may subsequently encounter within our community.

To be clear, no staff member or patient has tested positive or exhibited symptoms.

We are following the recommended guidelines set forth by the American Dental Association. We will continue to look for any updates and pass this information to our patients.
