Dr. Hines earned his bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University-Go Mountaineers!-and went on to attend dental school at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. After living in Kentucky for several years, he and his wife, Danielle, felt the pull to return to North Carolina to be closer to family. Boone was the perfect choice thanks to its great schools, slower pace of life, and incredible outdoor opportunities.
Danielle, also an App State graduate (Class of 2012), has worked in healthcare for over a decade. When Dr. Hines took over the practice from Dr. Graham in 2023, she joined full-time as Office Manager. She is passionate about incorporating advanced technology and practice-management systems, while also fostering a positive, engaging work environment for the team.
High school sweethearts from Charlotte, NC, Dr. Hines and Danielle married in 2012. They now have two young boys, Danny and Riley, along with a pack of dogs who keep life lively. As a family, they love all things outdoors-hiking, exploring, and enjoying everything the High Country has to offer. Both are grateful to call Boone home and believe there is no better place to raise their children. Together, they are committed to growing the practice and serving every patient with respect, honesty, and transparency.
