Thank you for hanging in there for the after hours calls, working through lunches, standing for long shifts hunched over, calming people through fears, listening when patients need it, remembering the little things that mean the world to others, dedicating time to improving your knowledge & skills, and most of all, just being loving humans who chose healthcare because of their empathy for others. Meet Alyson, CRDH…as our lead hygienist, she holds licensure in Florida, Tennessee, and Indiana with more than 20 years of clinical experience providing comprehensive, preventive, and specializing in periodontal therapy. She’s committed to delivering exceptional patient care through education, compassion, and the use of advanced dental technology. A 2006 graduate from Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois. With an Associates degree in Applied Science, and 140+ hours of continuing education certifications biannually, Alyson is certified in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide monitoring, and Basic Life Support (BLS), PRP/phlebotomy, and will be certified in diode laser therapy and microneedling summer of 2026. On a side note, she also holds certification in Digital Court Reporting and Legal Transcription in 2023 from University of Chattanooga- Tennessee, and owns her own business showing her love for crafting with www.alysknits.com 🪥🦷🧶

The first smiling face you’ll see walking into our practice is Sheri. A graduate of Southern Illinois University w/an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science & Dental Hygiene, she practiced as a hygienist for 42yrs in Lombard & Glen Ellyn, IL before moving to FL & joining the 6th Sense team as front desk receptionist. Her positive energy & sense of humor will make dental anxieties melt away to all those who meet her!
