Pelican Landing Dental of Bonita Springs first opened our doors in 1998, but our current owners – husband-and-wife dentists Drs. Rich and Lacy Gilbert – took over the practice in 2010. The two met while studying at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Both of them have completed extensive training in several areas of dentistry, including sleep apnea treatment and dental implants. Dr. Ri

ch Gilbert even earned a Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, allowing us to complete the entire dental implant process under one roof. On our team we also have a board-certified prosthodontist, Dr. Breanne Anderson, who specializes in restoring damaged and incomplete smiles with lifelike solutions, as well as several general dentists – Drs. Bradley Mouritsen, Sara Sardano, and Mauricio Anda. With their combined expertise and stellar customer service, you can count on our Bonita Springs dentists to deliver comprehensive, high-quality care for your smile.

Did you know that according to the Academy of General Dentistry, one of the most reputable dental organizations out there, the average person only spends 45 to 70 seconds each day brushing their teeth? This is less than half of the recommended 2 to 3 minutes.

However, if you see things through, you should spend around 40 collective days brushing your teeth over your lifetime. If you ask us, this is time well spent!

Of course, brushing is just part of the equation. You'll also want to stay on top of your routine preventive dental care - and this is where Dr. Rich, Dr. Lacy, and our awesome team can help!
