“Sleep divorce” might sound like a relationship problem.

For many couples, it’s actually a sleep problem.

If snoring is keeping one of you awake night after night, it may be more than an annoyance. Loud, persistent snoring can be a sign that something is happening with your airway while you sleep.

Before you move into separate bedrooms, it’s worth finding out what’s really going on.

Do you wake up with a dry mouth?

That can actually be a sign of a compromised airway.

At your dental visits, make sure your doctor is looking at more than just your teeth, including whether your upper and lower jaw could be affecting your airway.

And if you have questions, we’re always here to help. Give us a call.

CPAP works: but it doesn’t work for everyone.

If the mask, noise, or feeling of being connected to a machine is keeping you from using it consistently, there may be another option worth exploring.

Custom oral appliances can help keep your airway open while you sleep without a mask or machine.

The goal isn’t to find the “best” treatment. It’s to find the one that works for you.

A sharper jawline is trending, but how is your jaw feeling?

In this video, Dr. David discusses jawline obsession culture and why habits like frequent clenching or excessive gum chewing deserve a closer look.

That viral jaw release trend? The relief is real, but it may not be solving the real problem.

Jaw massage can temporarily relax overworked muscles and ease tension. But if you’re constantly clenching, there may be something underneath it, from stress and bite alignment to the way your airway functions while you sleep.

A proper TMJ evaluation looks at the why, not just the symptom.

If your jaw keeps telling you something is wrong, it’s worth listening.
