We are asking that you only visit our office if you are not having any symptoms of cough, fever or any potentially Covid 19 related symptoms.

Patients are asked to call our office upon arrival and a staff member will come out to es**rt you into the office to avoid having patients in the reception area.

Anyone other than the patient with an appointment is asked to wait outside or in the vehicle to keep patients in the reception area to a minimum.

East Boise Dental Patients, Friends, and Neighbors:

We hope this post finds you all in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines.

While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office.

Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it's both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies' recommendations.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You'll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.

We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.

You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children's toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you're offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.

Upon arrival to our office please call to let us know you have arrived and a staff member will es**rt you into the office.

We will be back in the office on Monday May 11th to resume our regular schedule.

We ask that patients do not bring guests to the appointments. If they do come along we ask that they wait in the car or outside the building maintaining social distance practices.

Our office will be closed to all but true dental emergencies until April 6, 2020 at the recommendation of the Idaho State Dental Association to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus/ Covid-19.

All non-emergency appointments will be canceled and when we can make the necessary arrangements, we will contact patients to reschedule appointments.

As a result of limited staff and scheduling, we may experience a change of business hours during this time.

The health and safety of our patients is our primary concern and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Dear Patients and Families:
The Coronavirus/Covid-19 pandemic has given us all cause for concern. We want you to know that the safety of our patients and families is always our primary concern. As always, we regularly disinfect our treatment area, all public surfaces, and follow the most stringent sterilization protocols in the industry. We continue to utilize hospital grade disinfectants to clean all treatment areas and public use areas in our office. We have removed all magazines, books, and brochures in the waiting area for your protection.

We kindly ask that you adhere to the following protocol that our practice has established in order to keep our patients and staff healthy:

• Please RESCHEDULE your appointment if anyone in your household has a FEVER or other signs of illness.
• If you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to concerns about the coronavirus, please call our office.
• Please DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY for your appointment. Arrive on time so we do not have additional people on our reception room.
• Please help us limit the number of people entering our office. Parents or family members may WAIT IN THE VEHICLE or utilize our waiting room.
Because we are all unsure of what the next days and weeks will bring us, we ask you to be patient with us as we may have to cancel appointments or move appointment times. We care deeply about our patients, and every decision will be made with your best interest in mind!
