All of us here at Yamato Family Dental are delighted to introduce Dr. Shifat Mirza, DDS to the team! 🎉💖

Dr. Mirza earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at NYU Lutheran, where she received advanced training in comprehensive care and complex cases. She also holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Miami, giving her a strong foundation in both clinical science and patient communication.

With more than eight years of clinical experience in a variety of practice settings — from high-tech private practices to family-centered offices — Dr. Mirza is highly skilled in all areas of general dentistry, including restorative, cosmetic, implant, and endodontic care. She has pursued extensive continuing education, including advanced training through the renowned Dawson Academy, as well as specialized courses in smile design, adhesive dentistry, endodontics, implants, and esthetics.

Patients know Dr. Mirza for her warm chairside manner, gentle approach, and commitment to long-term oral health. She takes pride in building lasting relationships and providing care that is both clinically excellent and personally comforting.

Her schedule: Dr. Mirza will be available to see patients on Tuesdays, starting September 23.

We hope you’ll have the opportunity to meet Dr. Mirza at your next visit — and we’re confident you’ll feel at ease with her right away.
