🦷 Dental Fact of the Day:
Your teeth are the hardest substance in your body! Tooth enamel is even harder than bone—but unlike bone, enamel can’t repair itself once it’s significantly damaged because it contains no living cells.
Tip: Fluoride helps strengthen and remineralize early enamel damage, which is one reason fluoride toothpaste is so important.

We are blessed to welcome McKenzie, our newest hygienist to the Blue Ridge Dentistry team. We have enjoyed taking care of her and her family for years and now excited to have her join our team.

I have aspired to become a dental hygienist ever since I started being a patient at this office at a young age. The hygienists ability to create rapport and make their patients feel loved and comfortable in a dental setting is what inspired me to build a career in this profession. Nothing makes me happier than hearing my patients say they enjoyed their cleaning. Not only do I want to make an appointment an enjoyable experience, but the goal is to help patients reach their treatment needs. Smiling goes a long way toward making people feel better about life, and I will be an aide and a friend to help along the way.

I have been a hygienist for almost 4 years now. I studied at the university of North Georgia in Dahlonega , and then went on to Re*****on college hygiene program in Nashville Tennessee. After graduating, I worked in Chattanooga at a periodontist office.

I am a newly wed, and have moved back home to Cherry Log. I enjoy being with my family, being outdoors, and worshipping our Lord and savior.

This office has always held a special place in my heart and I am incredibly blessed to work here !
