Blue Ridge Dental: Mark Dlugokinski DDS

After graduating dental school from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor in 1992, he served in the United States Navy Dental Corp on Camp Pendleton United States Marine Corp base in California. Upon honorable discharge from the Navy, he joined a private dental practice in his hometown of Grand Blanc. Dr. Dlugokinski always had a love of the South, and left his practice in Michigan to accept an a

ppointment as the Director of the Faculty Private Practice at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry located in Augusta, GA where his duties included management of the faculty practice, teaching dental students, and dental research. While teaching at the college, he further served in the United States Army Reserve as a dental officer. In 2002, Dr. Dlugokinski relocated to Blue Ridge, Georgia to open his own private practice at the RiverStone Medical Campus where he practices and lives, raising four children with his wife Beth who teaches at Copper Basin Elementary School. With years of both private practice and as an Assistant Professor and Director of the Faculty Private Practice at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, Doctor D's treatment philosophy is well established. Recognizing that there are often multiple solutions to dental problems, Dr. Dlugokinski's first interest is in understanding the patient's dental interests and goals. His practical approach to life is extended to patients such that the long term stability and structural integrity of dental restorations is of the highest importance which provides the patient with the most conservative and financially responsible solutions to dental problems. Dr. Dlugokinski is known for his gentle delivery of treatment and overall concern for the patient's well being. Doctor "D" takes the time to listen to patient concerns and designs a treatment plan to address the oral health needs and emotional care for each patient. For Dr. D. hearing the patient exclaim, "This was the easiest appointment I've ever had," is the greatest reward.
