Comely Dental Hygienists We are a Bloomington, IN group of crazy folks coming together to participate in the Greatest Interna WHAT IS THIS GISHWHES THING? WHAT IS UP WITH YOUR NAME?

A few years ago, actor and do-gooder Misha Collins started a non-profit organization to create the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Known. It is a silly but meaningful contest where teams from all over the world compete for one week (August 2-9) to collect items or perform actions from a list provided by GISHWHES (www.gishwhes.com). The team awarded the most points wins! P

roceeds from registration fees are donated to a charity Random Acts (http://www.therandomact.org/), which funds random acts of kindness throughout the world. And, a significant portion of the silliness of GISHWHES involves us performing random acts of kindness and joy in our communities and around the world. So glad you asked! GISHWHES founder Misha Collins appears in the TV show Supernatural. In one episode, a demon named Lilith goes on vacation from Hell by possessing a comely dental hygienist who lives in .... wait for it.... Bloomington, Indiana! And we are from Bloomington, Indiana, so d'uh, we MUST be comely dental hygienists too. That's logical, right? HOW CAN I SUPPORT YOUR AWESOMENESS? Like our page! Watch here for updates about our exploits, opportunities to cheer us on, and other dental-related silliness. There will also be chances to help us out with our assignments (flashmob, anyone?) by participating yourselves, or lending us that awesome nerf lightsaber, or your ladder so we can get the kale up to the very top of the courthouse. GISHWHES 2014 has officially concluded! Creativity, new friends, laughter, good deeds, silliness ... what a tremendous run! Deep thanks to family and friends who have helped in so many ways. And, there just isn't enough gratitude in the world to bestow upon our tremendous teammates. Outstanding. Really, it was easy to do GISHWHES in Bloomington -- we already have a community full of kind and freaky folks.
