Late evening wood boiler repair last night. The firebox had developed a hole in it allowing the water jacket to spray pressurized water onto the fire and after a couple hours had actually flooded the box. Repaired, refilled and back in service.

Well I've been a big time slacker on posting work. So we'll start the year off right with a big one. 10 hours start to finish on this ball and socket joint replacement on a John Deere 700J. Long time customer reached out to me and wanted get this mission critical machine for their operation doctored up correctly and back in service as quick as possible. Forever grateful for my long time customers who take care of me and trust me with the care of their equipment!

A few highlights from the last couple weeks. Started out helping out another local business assemble the sign for the new Martinsville Walgreens. Fixed a steel and an aluminum horse trailer and repaired a Case 850 dozer with a cylinder bushing ripped out of it.

It's been a very busy few days! Some trailer repairs for a hotshot driver, then on the way home from that job the ol' 2nd gen lost 5th gear. So, welded my own 5th gear nut as a permanent fix as it had the "revised" nut and it still failed and backed off. (NV4500 things) Followed by some more welding and mechanicing on a John Deere 2020 with a broken spark plug in the cylinder head and a broken floor plate support bolt in the side of the transmission housing as well as re welded one of the three point hitch ball sockets and repaired the bent up and broken floor plate back to where it is structurally sound. Then torched off some stripped loader mount bolts on another tractor and repaired a crack in a water hydrant.

Decided to kick it old school for awhile and picked up this super clean and nice 2nd gen to be the new dedicated welding truck. Took a little while fixing some small things and getting the bed set up how I wanted it but I love how this new set up turned out! Still have a few odds and ends and things to do with it but it's ready to go to work! We've got a warm spell coming and if you've got a project you need welded up shoot us a message or call at 317-370-4148.

Fixed up this horse trailer ramp a few days ago. The ramp face had gotten bowed down and warped between the bracing due to the material being only 1/8" thick aluminum. We took it to the next level with some 3/16 aluminum custom cut to size for the ramp and welded in place. This will make a much steadier platform for horses to walk on!
