February is National Children's Dental Health Month and we were excited to take part in promoting healthy habits early! 🦷✨

One of our CFD-Blanchard hygienist, Carly and her buddy, Mr. Chompers spent time at with the Pre-K & 2nd grade students at Middleberg Elementary, teaching our friends about the importance of brushing, flossing and keeping those smiles healthy and bright. The kids did an amazing job learning about “sugar bugs,” practicing proper brushing techniques and sharing their own healthy habits!

Building strong hygiene routines at a young age helps set the foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles. Thank you to the Middleberg for welcoming us and allowing us to invest in your students!

Here are a few simple tips for parents:
🪥 Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste
😁 Floss once daily (yes, even for little teeth!)
🥕 Choose tooth-friendly snacks like fruits and veggies
🗓 Schedule regular dental checkups

The American Dental Association recommends children visit the dentist by their first birthday. Early visits help prevent problems before they start so let’s work together to keep those tiny teeth shining bright. 💙
