Dr. Matthews graduated cm laude from Brigham Young University – Hawaii in 2007 with a degree in International Business.Upon graduation, Dr. Matthews worked as a financial analyst for a large national retail chain, The Limited. After several years, with a desire to put his artistic talents and refined hand skills to good use, Dr. Matthews returned to school in order to pursue a career in Dentistry
. The desire to present high quality treatment to his patients has pushed Dr. Matthews to expand his creative focus, and seek out additional training through organizations such as the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. As well as elective courses, offered at the University of Colorado, involving various branches of dentistry such as: pediatrics, periodontics, prosthodontics, and oral medicine. Outside of the dental office, Dr. Matthews enjoys spending time with his wife, Melanie, their son, Rivers, and their Australian Shepherd, Canberra. Dr. Matthews enjoys woodworking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and exploring the outdoors with his family.
