Central Alabama Water Company, also known as Birmingham Water Works has removed fluoride from the local water supply due to cutting costs starting on March 20, 2026
Fluoride is a key factor in preventing cavities and keeping teeth strong, so this change may increase the risk of tooth decay for both kids and adults.
