Dear patients,
On June 28, our building was affected by a fire. The incident caused our office to have to close for an extended amount of time. While it was my desire to resume treating patients quickly as possibly, the circumstances have prohibited and prolonged any access to the premises without a clear date of re-occupancy. Due to this dilemma, I have decided not to reopen. Therefore, we are notifying you of our closing so that you may seek the dental care you need from another provider.
If you are insured, your best option for a referral is to contact your insurance carrier for a provider in your network. Because each provider makes their own decisions about what past information they need, Let us know either by email or text if your new dental provider requests any radiographs or progress notes, and we will email them promptly. Radiographs are usually only useful if they are less than 12 months old. Therefore, if you haven’t been into our office since July 2021, it will not be necessary to transfer.
Additionally, if you have claims pending from your insurance carrier or if you have carried a balance, you will continue to receive statements from Birmingham Eastern Family Dental Care until your account is satisfied. If your records include a cell number or an email address, you may pay your statement on either link you receive.
