✨ Correcting a crossbite early can make a BIG difference!

With Phase 1 treatment and the use of an expander, we corrected this crossbite and helped create a more balanced relationship between the upper and lower jaws.

🦷 Why does timing matter? When a crossbite causes the jaw to shift, it can contribute to asymmetric jaw growth over time if left untreated. Early intervention helps address the underlying issue while a child is still growing.

🙌 And look at those midlines! The upper and lower dental midlines are now much more aligned than they were before treatment, creating a more balanced bite.

👃 Is your child a mouth breather? There may be more to it than a habit.

Enlarged tonsils, enlarged adenoids, or other forms of nasal obstruction can make it difficult for a child to breathe comfortably through their nose — leading them to rely on mouth breathing instead.

Mouth breathing can be a sign that something is blocking or limiting proper nasal airflow. Identifying the why behind mouth breathing is an important first step toward addressing the underlying issue.

If your child regularly breathes through their mouth, snores, sleeps restlessly, or struggles to breathe comfortably through their nose, it may be worth having their airway evaluated.
