Dr. Thomas Coburn takes a very personal approach to working with his patients. His unique long-term treatment plan, which he discusses with each patient during their visit, may be the biggest reason why he has retained nearly 100 percent of his patients over the years, and why Dr. Coburn has been voted one of Hour Detroit’s Top Dentists.

My philosophy is taken from legendary UCLA basketball head coach John Wooden, who said, ‘If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?” Dr. Coburn says. Dr. Coburn is a graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School and the Kois Center in Seattle, a globally recognized didactic and clinical program that employs the latest advances in cosmetic, implant, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Coburn is also a member of a local society of leading dentists who share ideas and techniques, confidentially discuss cases, and mentor up-and-coming dentists.
