Two days of honest conversation, new ideas and a little time behind the wheel.

The BioHorizons Mastermind brought some of implant dentistry’s leading clinicians together with our CEO, engineers, marketing team and corporate leadership in Atlanta. The goal was simple: listen closely, exchange perspectives and work together to shape better solutions for the clinicians and patients we serve.

That collaboration extended beyond the meeting room with time at the Porsche Experience Center, giving everyone a chance to connect personally and enjoy the experience together.

To the clinicians who joined us, thank you for sharing your time, expertise and unfiltered feedback. We do not take that access or trust for granted.

BioHorizons has always believed that the strongest partnerships feel like family. The Mastermind was two days of putting that belief into practice.

3.8mm Pro Zygoma. ~70 Ncm. One complete surgical and restorative workflow.

Dr. Michael A. Pikos demonstrates his approach from creating the initial channel and engaging the zygoma to achieving ~70 Ncm of insertion torque.

Then, the focus shifts to restoration. Using the expanded multi-unit abutment portfolio, he evaluates angulation, gingival height and prosthetic positioning before selecting the final abutment.

A closer look at how surgical ex*****on and restorative planning come together in advanced remote anchorage cases.

Watching a quad zygoma case is one thing. Performing the workflow in a cadaver lab is another.

Dr. Alex Nguyen, OMS, shares a Pro Zygoma case designed for primary stability and immediate loading in poor maxillary bone. This October, experienced full-arch clinicians can train with Dr. Nguyen in Dallas through lectures, model surgery and cadaver-based remote anchorage placement.

The course covers zygomatic, pterygoid and transnasal approaches, with an emphasis on prosthetically driven planning and the technique behind Pro Zygoma.

Because advanced anatomy demands more than observation. It demands hands-on experience.

Introducing Prolifica™, a naturally occurring blend of allogenic growth factors stabilized by native human collagen. With at least 16 unique proteins and a natural biphasic release, Prolifica provides an initial surge followed by sustained regenerative support throughout the healing cascade.

Use it alone or combine it with autologous bone or another allograft for advanced grafting procedures.

Three months later, the tissue is doing the talking 👀

In this clinical spotlight from Dr. Alexander Nguyen, OMS (Alex Nguyen | Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon), a complex upper full-arch case was managed with Pro Zygoma implants, bilateral pterygoids and anterior Tapered Pro Conical implants — creating a path to immediate load without completing the originally planned quad zygoma approach.

Key decisions shaped the outcome: posterior remote anchorage for support, anterior implant placement where anatomy allowed, low zygomatic positioning, 60° MUAs for the prosthetic trajectory and buccal fat advancement to support tissue management.

Now at 3 months post-op, the tissue response offers a closer look at how implant position, prosthetic planning and soft tissue strategy work together in advanced full-arch care.

“I love the idea of making the 3.8 diameter my workhorse zygo and having a 4.2 with the same thread design as a backup.”

Sometimes the value is not just having a plan. It’s having the options to adapt.

Learn the workflow from the surgeons using it. Join Dr. Nguyen in Dallas this October for hands-on Pro Zygoma cadaver training through TeethXpress by BioHorizons. Link is in the bio 🔗
