What if we could show you exactly where plaque is hiding?

With Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), we take a different approach to your dental cleaning!

We begin by applying a special disclosing solution that makes otherwise invisible biofilm visible on your teeth. But did you know the different colors actually tell us something?

🩷 Pink/Red: Newer biofilm that has recently accumulated.

💜 Purple/Blue: More mature biofilm that has been sitting on the teeth longer.

This allows our team to see exactly where buildup is hiding and focus on the areas that need the most attention!😍

We had an amazing time learning about the latest and the greatest system that we are bringing to Alexander Dentistry! Guided Biofilm Therapy, or GBT, uses advanced technology to identify and gently remove the biofilm (plaque bacteria) that builds up on your teeth and around your gums. Thank you, Christelle Kidd, RDH for such a great day yesterday! Patients- we cannot wait to for you to experience GBT with us, most would say it’s like a spa treatment for your teeth🫧😍
