𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗽𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 ➡️

One of my most challenging and favourite cases:

Patient came in for an emergency distraught with a broken front tooth. Most of her teeth had old veneers/ crowns/ fillings. Unfortunately, the tooth was so damaged, it couldn’t be saved. We found that her deep bite was aggravating the situation and risking her other teeth that were also starting to break, so we came up with a plan to fix everything from the ground up.

The challenge here was two fold:
1. C̲o̲r̲r̲e̲c̲t̲i̲n̲g̲ ̲t̲h̲e̲ ̲d̲e̲e̲p̲ ̲b̲i̲t̲e̲ and giving height to her lower teeth which were short, bulky and tilted inwards.
2. Getting an e̲s̲t̲h̲e̲t̲i̲c̲ ̲o̲u̲t̲c̲o̲m̲e̲ on the upper front teeth which are a combination of implant, crowns and veneers. Not easy to get all 3 types of restorations to match and blend together!

Result:
Using we corrected her bite to alleviate any uneven pressure and 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 to her lower front teeth to give a natural healthy bite and appearance. We also 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗲 to match her implant and overall smile. I absolutely loved how it turned out and so did she!

Stunning 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 shade for this case!

This patient’s biggest wish was to have a 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 looking smile. A lot of time and attention was spent to get this exact porcelain shade after taking into account many factors including skin tone, eyes and his personality!

Life changing case:

This amazing young patient started out with g̲a̲p̲s̲, w̲o̲r̲n̲/̲m̲i̲s̲s̲h̲a̲p̲e̲n̲ front teeth and m̲i̲s̲s̲i̲n̲g̲ teeth after an accident.

He was finally ready to take the plunge and get it done the right way… and it was exciting to see him through it!

An implant was placed in the gap, and we built everything back up again with 12 upper and 12 lower 𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨. We corrected the bite, added subtle length to his front teeth and closed the gaps. And cherry on top: a 𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙢 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙙𝙚 to get a final result he loved!

Loved working with this amazing patient to bring his smile back to health. Years of living with a bad bite led to fractured teeth…

We removed the decay and fractures, and built the teeth back up strong with porcelain to give them health and longevity!

It’s very upsetting when accidents (big or small) affect the smile you love.
Whether it’s a small chip or a big fracture, the sooner you take care of it…the easier the fix will be and a better final result!

Porcelain veneers are a great way to fix a variety of dental problems and create a natural, harmonious smile.

The tricky part in this case is that the patient has missing lateral incisors. His canines were previously used to mimic the look of the missing incisors, which resulted in 𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗸𝘆 restorations, 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and issues with his 𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗲.
We removed all the old broken stained material and redesigned the gums* to give a more 𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝒔𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒆. We turned the bulky existing restorations into 10 seamless minimal prep that enhanced and complemented his smile.

This was such a rewarding case to tackle on so many levels! Uneven gums, uneven bite, missing teeth to camouflage and old restorations to replace! Notice the improved smile flow and width to give a natural aesthetic with more symmetrical gum tissue. As a result, his bite and chronic TMJ problems also improved! ✔️

There is something so 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 about feeling good smiling. It changes your 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, your subconscious 𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘴 and subsequently…how others 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘦 you.
