UPCOMING MAIN STREET RAILROAD CROSSING CLOSURE

The Village of Birch Run is expecting significant railroad crossing work at the main railroad tracks on Main Street. This work will require the complete closure of Main Street at the crossing for approximately four to five days.

While the exact dates have not yet been established work is expected within two weeks. We will share the schedule as soon as it is confirmed.

Planned detours:

Westbound: Maple Road to Canada Road to Elms Road
Eastbound: Church Street to Burt Road to Beyer Road

These detours have been coordinated with our DPW, Police Department, Fire Department, and Road Commission. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

TOMORROW IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE DAYS OF THE YEAR….. CHRISTMAS IN THE VILLAGE!! 🎅🏻🎄🤶🏻 We couldn’t be more excited to bring our community together to celebrate the season! Santa will arrive on the train thanks to Lake State Railway at 5:30pm! There is something for everyone at this event, stop on out and get into the holiday spirit with us!

⚠️ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE⚠️
Maple Road, from Main Street to Racine Street, will be closed from 10:00am until 10:00pm on Friday, December 6th. Conquest Street and Racine Street will be open for traffic flow from Maple Road to Main Street (and vise versa) during that time. Please drive carefully thru this area! Thank you to the Village of Birch Run, for taking care of this important piece of our event!
