Dental Assistant/Receptionist Floater in Big Sky
State-of-the-art dental practice located in a beautiful, modern facility seeks a positive and energetic receptionist 4-4.5 days per week. This is about 32-33 hours per week and comes with full time benefits, plus affordable housing in Big Sky which is subsidized by the dental office. It is within biking distance in the summer and cross-country skiing distance in the winter, or about a 2-3 minute car drive.
The most important candidate attributes are being organized, respectful, cheerful, having outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and being willing to learn and improve.
Competitive hourly wage starting at $28/hr increasing with mastery or experience, and monthly housing stipend or potential for travel time to be compensated within a specified radius. Great benefits package can include : annual lift pass at Big Sky Resort, or yoga/gym membership, medical insurance, paid vacation after accrual, in-house dental benefits, all negotiable depending on previous experience.
We schedule at least one day mid-week to start around 11am so we all can ski, bike, do yoga, fish, work out, or run before starting work, for a great work-life balance any season of the year.
No Saturdays or Sundays. Mondays are typically only 2-3 hours less and mostly clerical or phone work.
Our patients are our neighbors, friends and family, and they appreciate that we treat them with that same kind of love and respect. We place significant emphasis on individual attention and time for each patient here. This is a high-relationship office, not high-volume.
Responsibilities include :
1). Providing warm reception and hospitality services at our front desk for all people entering Mountain Pearls, as well as basic clerical duties;
2. Scheduling new and existing patient appointments in person and over the phone, clear consistent communication with the doctor;
3. Setting up and breaking down treatment rooms, as well as disinfection and sterilization of instruments and equipment;
4. Helping to track dental supplies inventory and communicating with team members in a timely manner to maintain appropriate materials on hand at all time.
This is a year-round position, but has ample time off for maintaining a great work-life balance - i.e., time to ski/board in the winter, and bike, hike, fish, or run in the summers. Every year there is a Christmas/New Years break of at least 1 full week, another full week or so at the end of April/early May, and several long weekends throughout the year. Career advancement and training available for the right individuals. We'd love to add you to our team to serve the Big Sky community.
