Dr. Corey received his bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M University and his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. After completing dental school, he went on to graduate from a residency in advanced general dentistry where he received the prestigious Excellence in Restorative Dentistry Award from the Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Corey has continued to deve

lop his well-rounded skill set by regularly engaging in dental education courses. His specific interests of study include guided implant surgery, root anatomy and its application to endodontics, and comprehensive treatment planning of complex dental cases. In addition to his clinical endeavors, Dr. Corey works in the dental product research and development industry and has become an advisor for several leading dental product manufacturers. This expertise, along with his passion for dentistry, has led Dr. Corey to provide educational content to dentists all over the world. Dr. Corey spends much of his “free time” teaching hands-on workshops, webinars, and writing articles to help other dentists expand and improve their skills. As a dentist, Dr. Corey believes in providing personalized care to his patients. He prides himself on being able to convert patients who once “hated going to the dentist” into his best patients. He is kind, caring, and committed to creating a positive experience for everyone who walks into his practice. Doc Corey loves the great outdoors and you will find him (when not in the office or at a dance competition) in the woods or in his kayak. Hunting, fishing, woodworking, building more animal shelters for the furry and feathered friends that show up at his house (many thanks to his wife and daughters) are just a few of his many hobbies. Doc, his wife Chelsea, and their two daughters have made Big Rapids and Jade Dental their home.

Jade Dental had a night out at the Rodeo via St. Mary St. Paul Annual Gala! We not only enjoy working together but also enjoy each other’s company (and their loved ones) outside of the office- whether it’s a graduation, sporting event, birthday or a just because gathering- fun will be had ❤️

Best dressed award… we all clean up nicely but… Vinny I think won. 🥰

Our office will be closed Thursday April 30th and will reopen Monday MAY 4th!

Our team may not be seeing patients today but are busy learning… even baby Vinny!

Continuing education is not only required in the dental field but also something our team is passionate about! Doc loves to teach and learn! Stay tuned to learn more about our newest member of the team: The intraoral scanner! 🥰😍😍😍

The newest member of the Jade Dental family made his debut this past week! Doc, Chelsea, big sisters and baby are doing well!

Vinny stole our hearts and is the most precious bundle of joy.

He even passed his testing with flying colors despite some challenges with his cleft lip and cleft palate! He’s a rockstar already.

Vincent means “he who prevails” “the conquerer” and he’s already living up to that description.

Welcome to the fam Vinny! You are so loved and so perfectly created.

Out of an abundance of caution for our team and our patients, we will remain closed Monday December 29th, 2025. We hope everyone stays warm, safe and cozy during this wind/rain/ice/snow storm.

Those who were scheduled have been called and messaged letting them know of this change. We will work diligently upon returning to the office to get those appointments rescheduled and messages returned.

We hope you all have a joyful holiday and blessed New Year!

Reminder we will be closed the rest of the week to allow for our families to spend time with their loved ones both far and near!

We will reopen for scheduled appointments Monday Dec 29th and Tuesday Dec 30th. Then we will be off until Jan 5th!

We celebrated Christmas with brunch, games, gifts, laughter and baby Koal snugggles!

We will have limited hours in the upcoming weeks so that our team can spend some quality time with their families and friends near and far.

Open Dec 22nd-23rd 8-5pm
Closed Dec 24th-28th
Open Dec 29-31st 8-5 with very limited availability
Closed Jan 1st through the 4th

Normal business hours resume January 5th unless otherwise noted. (Dr. Corey is eagerly awaiting the arrival of his 3rd child! So when that time comes- there will be some changes to the schedule to help adjust to the new family of 5!)

November 11th - Veteran’s Day

Today we honor those who serve and have served for our country. We express sincere gratitude and appreciation for those who have dedicated their lives, committed their time and energy, and who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms and keep us safe.

We are especially thankful to our Wendy- Registered Dental Hygienist and Marine. She and her family have many years of service under their belts and we are so grateful for all you’ve done and continue to do! The courage, strength and commitment to do what you do is beyond measure. Thank you and Happy Veterans Day!

100/10 for the costume this year Ange and thanks Doc for being such a good sport! (Even though you kind of didn’t have a choice 🤣😂)

We also had the BEST VISITORS! Our sweet bubbly ray of sunshine Rachel stopped by with her most precious 2 week old baby boy, Koal. Doesn’t mama look BEAUTIFUL?! And of course we couldn’t get enough baby snuggles from Mr. Koal. Rachel, Koal and family are doing well! Keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they adjust to life with a newborn and all the things that come with it ❤️❤️❤️

We will be closed Thursday September 25th for an all day team learning event.

Much like the dolls in Doc's daughters' playhouse, we will be collaborating, brainstorming, and learning as a team tomorrow to help better serve you, our community, and optimize our best practices!
