Watch me fix this broken tooth 🦷⚡️This patient came in as a same-day emergency after breaking her front tooth… and she actually brought the broken piece with her!

That little piece was SO helpful.

I used it as a guide to see what the tooth originally looked like and created a template from it. Then I rebuilt the tooth using composite, carefully matching the shade to her natural smile.

And there was one more little detail… 👀

The tooth next to it had a tiny chip too, so I fixed that with a micro-bonding to bring everything back into harmony.

The best part? She walked out smiling like nothing ever happened. 🥹✨

And this is something I always want my patients to know:

A broken tooth doesn’t automatically mean a veneer or a crown.

Sometimes, a conservative composite repair can bring the tooth back to life while preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible.

And yes… I’m always reaching for my Ivoclar materials to help make those little details happen. 🤍

Let’s play a game 😈 Today is the noreaster storm and I doubt anyone will show up even though all the patients confirmed yesterday. Let’s see who is not playing about their dental visit 😊👌 Will I get to go home early? Will there be no-shows? Oh the thrill of the front desk 😁!!

Short day today as it is a half day on Saturdays but shoutout to our 9am little diva and our 10:30 Invisalign king.

And thank you Ximena Venegas for my cleaning today!! So happy you were able to see me today 😁 I’m so lucky! 🦷✨

Put a group of dentists in a room and somehow we’ll go from “How have you been?” to talking about business, implants, composites, scanners, materials, patients… and somehow end up talking about life.

I’m surrounded by dental directors, business owners, specialists, general & cosmetic dentists, and professors… and even after 8+ years in dentistry, nobody acts like they’ve “figured it all out.”

We’re still learning.
Still asking questions.
Still sharing what works (and what definitely doesn’t ).
Still trying to become better clinicians and better business owners.

And honestly, one of my favorite things is realizing that growth doesn’t have to happen alone.

Find your people. 🤍
The ones you can learn from, laugh with, vent to, and celebrate the wins with.

And apparently… I also need a puppy. 🐶😂

It’s not regular floss, it’s a cool floss 😁✨they are designed to change shape as you floss rather than staying as one thin strand. It uses a woven, textured floss that can spread when it contacts saliva and you apply pressure. The expanded fibers create a larger contact area against the tooth surface.
