When people ask why we wear all of this protective equipment during amalgam removal, my answer is simple:
Because this has never been about me.
It’s about the patient sitting in the chair.
Many of our patients come to us specifically looking for safe amalgam removal. They want every reasonable precaution taken, and we’re grateful we can provide that—for them and for our team.
We believe patients deserve to feel safe, informed, and respected when making decisions about the materials that will become part of their bodies for years to come.
At Elev8, we’ve built a truly human-centered approach to healthcare.
That means listening before speaking.
Educating instead of dismissing.
Partnering instead of dictating.
Gaslighting, shaming, dismissing, or rushing patients has no place in true healing.
Whether someone chooses to remove their amalgam fillings or keep them, our responsibility is the same: to provide honest information, respect their values, and support their decision with compassion and excellence.
As a patient, choose healthcare professionals who make you feel heard. Choose people who respect your philosophy, whatever that philosophy may be. Choose a team that welcomes your questions instead of making you feel embarrassed for asking them.
Trust is built when patients feel seen, respected, and cared for.
That’s the standard we hold ourselves to every single day.
