Your smile does not live in isolation.

When this patient had to have two front teeth extracted due to a large abscess, we prioritized his health and the function of his mouth— this does not mean, however, that we overlooked aesthetics.

The site could not sustain implants after the abscess left a large hole in his upper jawbone. He sought a solution that minimized surgery while still restoring his smile functionally and visually. We designed a porcelain bridge to preserve his jawbone structure and avoid unpredictable bone grafting. Combined with upper veneers, his new smile is not only healthy, but harmonized.

Eighteen months of hard work and careful planning later, and the result looks effortlessly natural.

The treatment plan you start with is not always the one you finish with.

This patient had two failed root canals that led to an abscess, resulting in the extraction of two front teeth.

The usual treatment course for this case is dental implants— but the abscess had other plans.

Major bone loss in his upper jaw meant he could not sustain dental implants, so we had to change course. A porcelain bridge replaced the missing teeth without relying on his bone structure, sparing him additional surgery and bone grafting.

Eighteen months of care later, his smile is brighter than before.

The right plan is not necessarily the first one, but the one that will work for the patient.

No smile transformation is the same.

This patient had two failed root canals resulting in an abscess forming above the front teeth. Due to the severity of the infection, two front teeth needed to be extracted.

The ideal treatment for this situation is dental implants — however, during treatment we discovered that the bone loss was too significant to sustain implants.

We adjusted our treatment approach to better suit his needs: a bridge to replace the missing teeth. To reconstruct the gum line that was lost to the infection, we layered pink porcelain over the bridge. Finally, we added upper veneers to create harmony in the smile.

The end result is a bright smile that is uniform in shape— where the gum loss isn’t the center of attention.

Thorough treatment planning goes a long way.

This patient wanted to close the gaps between his front teeth and improve the color and symmetry of his smile. Veneers will do this — but there is an important step to address before the design is even made.

Without balancing the patient’s gum line, even the most detailed restorations will lack symmetry. By recontouring the bone underneath the gum, the gum line can be repositioned permanently so the design sits evenly. In this patient’s case, the gum lift served two purposes: first, to create symmetry; second, to lengthen the teeth upward so the added width would still appear naturally proportioned.

The result is an understated look from afar, with immaculate detail up close. His smile is bright, symmetrical, and gap-free, while still appearing masculine and natural.

This lovely patient wanted a fuller smile.

His upper teeth were too small to meet at the edges, leaving small gaps between his front teeth. He sought a solution to eliminate those gaps while also making his smile brighter and symmetrical.

We designed a smile based on his facial features that would increase the size of each tooth proportionally without creating bulk. By lengthening the teeth upwards via a gum lift, we could then subtly increase the width of the teeth.

The result is an even gum line with a smile that appears full and bright— and, most importantly, natural.

Correcting this patient’s underbite transformed not only his smile, but his presence.

His alignment was problematic for two reasons: his lower teeth eclipsed his upper teeth, and his upper teeth were askew due to a missing canine tooth. This meant his smile was both functionally impaired and visually asymmetrical.

When restoring his smile, there were several considerations. Each tooth was designed with extraordinary precision to create a new bite and new alignment within the existing framework of his jaw structure. His canine was replaced to create visual symmetry— it is the longest tooth in the mouth, and with only one, the smile appeared heavier on one side. Finally, his midline was straightened to ensure his smile would appear even.

The impact of this transformation is notable in his full portrait. The ease of his bite comes across in his smile, and the visual symmetry complements his features. His smile doesn’t stand out— it blends in effortlessly.
