Married AND working together every day? ❤️🦷

For Dr. Moshrefi and Dr. Daneshmand, it’s been their normal for nearly 30 years.

They’ve built more than a practice together. They’ve built a place where patients become familiar faces and families grow with them.

The best part? No need to ask “How was work?” when they get home. 😂

Menopause symptoms can show up in places you wouldn’t expect 🌸🩺

Dry mouth, tenderness, increased sensitivity, or even changes in taste can sometimes accompany hormonal changes.

Your oral health deserves to be part of the menopause conversation, too.

If THIS is what you remember about dental impressions, we have good news 🤢📲

A tray full of impression material. Waiting for it to set. Trying not to gag. Not exactly anyone’s favorite part of a dental appointment.

Intraoral scanning replaces that experience with a digital scan that captures the information we need while keeping patient comfort and accuracy at the center of the process.

Same profession. Two very different reasons for choosing it 🎨🩺

Dr. Moshrefi and Dr. Daneshmand may have built the same career in periodontics, but what originally drew each of them to dentistry was very different.

For one, it was the rare opportunity to combine medicine with engineering, technical skill and problem-solving.

For the other, surgery revealed an artistic side of dentistry that most people never think about.

Same specialty. Different perspectives. One practice.

Technology can help improve the patient experience and support precise treatment planning. 🖥️🔬 Here’s a look behind the scenes at digital implant planning.

An intraoral scanner captures the teeth and gums, while cone beam imaging gives us a 3D view of the underlying bone and anatomy.

By combining these scans, we can virtually plan implant placement and use that plan to create a surgical guide.

When technology is paired with experience and knowledge, it can support precision, predictability, more efficient treatment, and greater comfort.

Rule #1 of working with your wife: she’s always right 👸❤️

Same residency. Similar treatment philosophy. More than 20 years in practice together.

They may not agree on everything, but Dr. Moshrefi knows when to pick his battles.

There’s more to ceramic implants than simply being metal-free 🤍🦷

Yes, their white color can be a major aesthetic advantage, especially when replacing a tooth toward the front of the smile.

What patients may not realize is that the conversation also includes how the material interacts with the surrounding gum tissue. The gingiva is considerably healthier around ceramic implants, typically less bleeding and inflammation compared to titanium implants due to the fact that bacterial biofilm does not accumulate on them to the same degree as titanium implants.

Your hormonal changes could be showing up in your mouth 🩸🧬

If your gums suddenly feel more sensitive or start bleeding when nothing in your routine has changed, there may be more going on than your brushing habits.

Your oral health can shift through different stages of life too. Pay attention when your gums start telling you something.

Ceramic or titanium implants... which one is actually better suited for you? ⚪️🔩

The answer isn’t as simple as picking the “better” material. Both have real advantages, and the right choice depends on factors like your health, anatomy, imaging, and individual priorities.

Dental implants shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all.

A $100 check started a 25-year love story 😂❤️

Dr. Moshrefi and Dr. Daneshmand first crossed paths at USC Dental School, all thanks to a fiber-optic light.

What started as two dental students meeting by chance turned into 25 years together, a family, and a shared career in periodontics.

Safe to say, that $100 was money well spent 🦷
