Dr. Koch is originally from
the Pocono area in Pennsylvania, and graduated summa cm laude from Lehigh University in 2002 with a BS in Biology. While at Temple, she was a member of the Oral Surgery Honor Society, as well as the Stomatognathic Honor Society. Dr. Koch was one of a small group of students in her class to be inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Koch and her husband, both Lehigh University graduates, decided to return to Bethlehem after their time in Philadelphia. After completing a one-year general practice residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, and practicing dentistry for five years in the Pocono and Lehigh Valley areas, Dr. Koch acquired the practice of Dr. Peter T. Davis. Dr. Davis retired in early 2017 after a career which spanned more than 40 years. Dr. Koch is an active member of the Lehigh Valley Health Network Medical Staff, and also is an attending dentist for the hospital’s dental residency program. For eleven years, she provided dental care to children on the Miles of Smiles mobile dental clinic. A member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Lehigh Valley Dental Society, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society, Dr. Koch also earned her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2013. In 2020, Dr. Koch became a Certified HealthyStart Provider, helping children improve achieve straighter teeth without braces and address symptoms of sleep disordered breathing. Dr. Koch lives in Bethlehem with her husband and three sons.
