While sitting in the VA hospital last week while my husband had his immunotherapy, I was trying to think of something to write for The Central Vermont Dental Center’s FB page.
Then it hit me…why not write about our amazing staff and our great boss. I will do this in increments so not to bore anyone.
This week, let’s do our absolutely amazing hygienists. Ariel is in the first room (called operatories) she is funny, has kids who play hockey and is a fantastic hygienist. Kaitlyn is in the middle room, also has two kids and likes to go camping. She is marvelous hygienist. Last up is Erika…she is a dog mom for now. She too is incredible. All 3 have done my teeth, so I speak from experience and I am a wimpy patient!
The Central Vermont Dental Center is extremely fortunate to such wonderful and caring people providing quality dental care to those in our community. Thank you ladies!

The Central Vermont Dental Center will be closed next week beginning August 3 and will reopen on August 10, 2026. Just a gentle reminder that we are always closed on Fridays.
Is it just me because I am old, or are the summer months really going so fast?
I also want to apologize because my posts have been far and few between. My husband has liver cancer and we have been back and forth to the VA Hospital in White River Junction. I am planning on getting back on track, I love this office and want to promote them as much as possible. The dental care they provide is totally amazing and the staff are some of the best people I have worked with.
I will see everyone after the break.

Happy Birthday to the United States on their 250 BIRTHDAY. 250 years is amazing...we have been through tough times, great times and thankfully the US of A has survived. Celebrate this birthday while remembering all who made it possible.
The Central Vermont Dental Center will be celebrating with our families and as usual will be closed July 2 however the office will also be closed July 6, 2026. We will reopen July 7 at our regular time.
As always, celebrate wisely and carefully.

I tell people all the time how fast time flies. When you are old like me, the times seems to pass even faster. I find myself saying to my husband : Oh my this month is almost over all the time. Now it is July 1 already and I haven’t accomplished much at all.
All of us at The Central Vermont Dental Center welcome you to July. What goals did you have for this year? Have you met any of them or like me are you saying “there is still so much time”?
Do the fun things, take the trip, eat the yummy food and in between work on your goals.

We would especially like to wish our very own Dr. Adler a great day with his own much loved children. May each of our staff have a fabulous day with your spouses and your own fathers.
For those of us who no longer have our dads, I wish each of you peace.

Compassion is an incredible word. There can be compassion to someone or something you love or a deep feeling for things around us.
This word has been in my head for a few days. I feel it for our patients, many who come in scared, alone and worried about the dentist. I consider myself extremely lucky to work with the best of the best, compassionate people. People who go the long haul to care about you, your teeth and how it all works together with your health.
In light of the horrific car accident yesterday and a motorcycle accident a few days earlier, we ask that each of you be compassionate to those around you. None of us know what someone may be going through or struggling with, a small piece of compassion may help them and us get through the day.

In honor of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, The Central Vermont Dental Center will be closed on Monday May 25, 2026. We will reopen on the 26th.
Please remember those Veterans who gave their lives so we can be free...as a veteran, this day is always in my heart but it is reserved for those who died giving me freedom to chose.
