Meet Dr. David Cassity, the heart behind our practice!
Dr. David Cassity is a proud Marshall County graduate (Class of 1976) and went on to earn his undergraduate degree from Murray State University in 1979. In 1983, he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He also holds both Fellowship and Mastership status with the Academy of General Dentistry. These achievements reflect his dedication to lifelong learning and excellence in patient care.
Dr. David Cassity has been serving the Benton community with compassionate dentistry since 1983, and in January 1996, he opened the doors to our current office.
Outside of the office, Dr. David Cassity is a devoted family man. He and his wife, Lisa, recently celebrated 40 years of wonderful marriage. Together they’ve raised two children they’re incredibly proud of. William, an accountant, and his wife Abby, parents of granddaughter Evelyn. Julie, who operates Culver’s restaurant in Paducah, and her husband Aaron, parents of granddaughter Chesney.
Dentistry has given Dr. David Cassity a full and fulfilling life, both in the office and beyond!
When he’s not caring for patients, you might spot him lending a hand at Culver’s or tending to his beekeeping hobby. (If you haven’t tried his award-winning honey, you’re missing out!)
Family is at the center of everything Dr. Cassity does. He loves spending time with his granddaughters and looks forward to the day they’ll be dribbling a basketball or swinging a baseball bat. Life is precious, and he’s enjoying every moment!
And if you know Dr. David Cassity, you know he’s a HUGE St. Louis Cardinals fan! From his fully decked out red Christmas tree during the holidays to the baseball jerseys in each operatory, his passion for the team shines bright. He is also a proud UofL basketball fan, proudly displaying his autographed picture with Coach Denny Crum.
We’re so grateful to have Dr. David Cassity leading our team, bringing not only decades of dental expertise but also genuine care for every patient who walks through the doors. We are proud to have such a dedicated dentist- an all around great person- leading our office and caring for this community! 🦷
