The Box and Board My love for charcuterie began a few years ago when my husband and I both discovered it on a date night at a favorite restaurant.

-Custom boards available upon request I am not afraid to admit, before that night, the term charcuterie was a bit intimidating to me.....it sounded a little too fancy, and I wasn't really sure how to properly eat it. But, once we tried it, I was hooked. I quickly discov

ered that one of the main reasons I liked it so much is that there really are NO rules! The beauty of charcuterie is that there is no limit to the possible combinations you have to choose from....all of the ingredients pair well together, making every single bite unique and delicious. Not to mention, it is an art form in itself! The design, colors, and arrangements of the boards are part of what makes them so appealing. The Box and Board was created with a vision of offering a charcuterie board....in a box! This makes it perfect for just about any occasion, whether it be as a gift to someone special, a thank you to someone deserving, an easy appetizer for a small gathering, or better yet....just for you to enjoy alone with a glass of wine after a long week! Each box is packed with joy, and designed to create a special experience for those receiving it.

Things have been pretty quiet on here lately….I’m still here, and still cranking out some delicious charcuterie, but have had to slow down quite a bit. About a month ago I took a big leap and decided to go back to work as a dental hygienist after being out of the field for about 8 years. I found an office I love, and the timing was right in our lives for it. TIME. That seems to be the thing we all need more of right? My intentions were to keep doing charcuterie on my days off of work, and I have, but I’ve quickly realized it’s a lot harder than it sounds. My pride is making it really hard to completely give this business up, because this last year has been amazing….but God is telling me that I need to simplify some things in our lives and I know this is an area that I need to address. For now, I will be really limiting the days I can take orders. That means I will have to say no a lot…which is very hard for me to do because I’m a people pleaser. I will try to post in advance when I will be open for orders….it will typically be Fridays and some Saturdays. This is the best way I can think of to approach this transition without completely giving it up. I am SO thankful for all of my followers and clients, and I appreciate how supportive and understanding you all are❤️ Here’s a few pictures of some of my favorites from the last few weeks. Hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween and enjoys this beautiful weather!

I had a sweet friend ask for a last minute homecoming board for the Belton game tonight….just so happened I was already prepping boxes so I said sure, and she dropped her adorable football shaped board off to me😍 I decided to have a little fun with it and thought it turned out pretty darn cute for a football🏈
