Today our very own Juili Shivde, DMD, MS, FPFA was honored to have the opportunity to advocate for general dentistry during the Academy of General Dentistry 2026 Hill Day at Capitol Hill on April 29th. She had the privilege to meet with Senator Tammy Baldwin’s staff and speak about the importance of co-sponsoring three key dental bills - the Improving Dental Administration Act, the Resident Education Deferred Interest (REDI) Act, and the Action for Dental Health Act.
We are also very pleased to share that the Action for Dental Health Act (H.R. 2001), the bipartisan legislation to reauthorize critical dental workforce grant programs, passed unanimously in the House Committee on Energy and Commerce on May 21.
