⚠️IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION REGARDING THE NEW AMALGAM SEPARATOR EPA GUIDELINES!⚠️

By now, all dentists are required to have an amalgam separator installed in their office. However, remaining compliant is an ongoing process. In most cases, weekly inspections are required to maintain compliance. Submitting inaccurate information on your one-time compliance report federal declaration is a FELONY OFFENSE, therefore, you want to be sure you are aware of all the nuances to the new requirements.

Logs must be maintained and easily accessible in order to satisfy local enforcement upon inspection. For all Yaeger Dental customers, there is an easy solution:

Go to https://dds-epa.org and use the code CA-YDS-MMC to gain access to free software to log your inspections.

We got our hands on a demo ADS aerosol collector, and because we're curious about real world applications for dental equipment, we do some visual tests to see how effective it is at processing air contaminants. With a fog machine and a little spare dental tubing, we set up a test operator to see how much air we can move away from what would be a patient's mouth. Due to limited time with the demo unit, we couldn't dive too deeply into our testing, but the current results are eyeopening. Take a look at what we found!
