When was the last time you replaced your kids toothbrush?

Most parents actually wait too long to start flossing.
Here’s the simple rule: As soon as two teeth are touching, it’s time to floss!

Once teeth are close together, a toothbrush can’t clean every surface, leaving plaque hiding between them.

Flossing once a day helps keep those hard to reach areas clean and supports healthy gums and cavity-free smiles.

It’s never about a certain age-it’s all about when those teeth start touching!

🥤 Which drinks are actually best for your child’s smile?

Not all drinks affect teeth the same way! While some help keep little smiles healthy, others can increase the risk of cavities over time.

Here’s our ranking from best to worst:
💧 Water – 10/10
🍵 Unsweetened caffeine-free tea – 9/10
🥛 Milk – 5/10
🥤 Smoothies – 4/10
🧃 Juice – 2/10
🥤 Soda – 0/10

🦷 Small changes can make a big difference!
✔️ Choose water most often
✔️ Serve milk and juice with meals
✔️ Limit sugary drinks
✔️ Have kids drink water after other beverages to help rinse away sugars and acids

Remember, it’s not just what kids drink, it also matters how often they sip throughout the day. Frequent exposure to sugary or acidic drinks gives cavity-causing bacteria more opportunities to do damage.
