This is our LightScalpel laser, and we 🫶 it! Why? Because it helps make certain procedures gentler, more precise, and easier on kiddos during healing and recovery.

We use it for things like tongue ties, lip ties, and other soft tissue procedures where comfort and accuracy really matter. And during the summer especially, parents are always extra thankful for anything that helps recovery feel a little smoother so kids can get back to snacks, pool days, camps, and all the fun stuff ☀️

Also… if you know Dr. Miller, you know she is a total tooth tech nerd in the best way possible 🤓 She’s always looking for tools that help kids have a better experience, not just during the visit, but long after they leave the chair too.

Can’t get your kiddo to brush twice a day? Prioritize bedtime brushing.

At night, saliva flow decreases, which means plaque and bacteria stick to the teeth more easily while we sleep. Brushing before bed helps remove all the buildup from the day before it sits on the teeth overnight.

Bonus: fluoride toothpaste gets extra time to strengthen and protect teeth while your child sleeps

A lot of dental care is focused on fixing what’s right in front of you and moving on.
But if no one’s asking why it’s happening in the first place, it usually just… comes back 😅
