True North Dentistry of Bel Air

On July 25, 2025, True North Dentistry hosted our second annual free dentistry day, together with the Maryland State Dental Association and the Mini Mission of Mercy program.

Dr. Harrison and her amazing team, together with other volunteers, provided free dental care to those in need in our community. We saw 80 patients and provided nearly $100,000 in free dental services in one day. It was a busy and very rewarding experience, and we are grateful for the opportunity to give back to our local community.

To Our Patients:



It has been almost four weeks since we closed our practice because of COVID-19 pandemic. We did this in order to protect you , our patient, and ourselves. We do not know how long the Governor's shelter-in-place will be in effect and we can resume treating our patients.

When we return to work the utmost care will be taken to protect you and us, as we have always done in our practice. There will definitely be some changes to how future appointments will go and we will keep you updated. Please be patient with us as we will have to reschedule many appointments. We are working hard to add more days to our schedule when we return to help you get back onto your regular recall appointment schedule. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

We know that good oral hygiene may not be at the forefront of your mind in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, but it is very important to control what we can.

The main objective, until we can see you again, is plaque control. This will help decrease infections in your mouth, which leads to fewer dental problems, so we advise.

1. Brushing 2x/day and flosssing/ waterpiking/ softpiking or using proxabrushes once a day.

2. Using a power toothbrush. If you haven't been using one, now is a good time to make the switch. An Oral-B Vitality is a good choice.

3. Using fluoride toothpaste.

4. Change your toothbrush/ toothbrush head if needed.

We miss you and look forward to when we can see you again in the office. In the meantime stay healthy and safe.
