Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. As you may have already heard, Governor Dewine has stated that dental offices are permitted to reopen effective May 1st. Please know that our top priority continues to be the health and safety of our amazing team and patients. Infection control has always been extremely important and we would like to share the procedures we follow in our practice.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Ohio State Dental Board (OSDB). We will continue to monitor these organizations for updated guidelines on best practices.
From May 4th on, you will see some changes when it is time for your appointment. We have instituted new protocols to protect our patients and staff. Please keep in mind that all of these steps are in addition to the already-stringent infection control guidelines that we have always followed. We look forward to seeing you and are happy to answer any questions you may have about our efforts to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.
