Chelsie is one of the first smiling faces you’ll see when you walk through our doors. From check-in to check-out, she’s always ready to welcome our patients and families with a big smile—and maybe even a hug! 🤗💙

When she’s not taking care of our patients, you can probably find Chelsie:

🦷✨ MEET THE SMILE SQUAD: KELLY! ✨🦷

Today we’re introducing you to Kelly Cody, our Director of Operations! 💗

Kelly has been part of our story from the very beginning—literally! Before this office was even a dental office, Kelly was already helping shape what would become Children’s Dentistry. She first came to us as a dental consultant, helping build our systems, schedules, and workflows from the ground up. What started as consulting quickly turned into something much bigger, and we were lucky enough to make her part of the team full-time! 🥰

These days, Kelly is the one behind the scenes making sure ALL the moving parts keep moving. From helping our team run smoothly to playing a huge role in our growth, she somehow has a way of making the impossible look easy. 💪🏼✨

But there’s a lot more to Kelly than schedules, operations, and keeping us all in line! 😂

🐴 Kelly is a horse girl through and through! She shows her horses at world events and loves spending time around the horses and the show world. (And yes, she’s smart enough to let someone else do the training! 😂)

🐾 She’s also a huge animal lover and shares her life with dogs, cats, and horses.

❤️ And perhaps her most important title of all… Gigi! Kelly absolutely adores her sweet 3-year-old, beautiful blonde-haired, horse- and animal-loving granddaughter, Caroline. 🥰

Kelly is such a huge part of the heart behind our practice, and we’re so lucky she chose to be part of our journey.

Dr. Nelson’s wife, Jen, brought us fresh-baked cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and y’all… they were THE BEST! 😋🤎

They were still warm and absolutely delicious! Needless to say, our whole staff was very happy this morning. 😂☕️

✨ SMILE SQUAD SPOTLIGHT: LACEY! ✨

Today we’re shining the spotlight on our Front Office Manager, Lacey! 💕🦷

Lacey has been with Dr. McQuade from the very beginning — and we mean THE very beginning! She started working with Dr. McQuade back when the practice didn’t even have an office yet… she was literally working from Dr. McQuade’s couch! 😂🛋️ Talk about being there from day one!

When Lacey isn’t keeping our front office running smoothly, she loves going buggy riding in Colorado with her wonderful husband! 🏔️ She’s also a big fan of fishing 🎣 and gummy candies 🍬 — two things we’re pretty sure pair perfectly together! 😉

Lacey loves pediatric dentistry because getting to watch little ones go from nervous to confident is the sweetest part of the job! 💗 She loves making our patients feel comfortable, celebrating their little victories, and helping create positive dental experiences they’ll carry with them as they grow. 🥰

From Dr. McQuade’s couch to Front Office Manager, Lacey has been part of this journey every step of the way — and we’re so thankful she is! 💕✨

Meet the Smile Squad: Ava 🦷✨

Meet Ava! 💗

Ava’s story with our office has truly come full circle! She was once a patient here back in 2009, and years later, she started shadowing here as a young teenager. Today, at 21 years old, she works with us part-time and has become such a special part of our Smile Squad family!

Ava is such a joyful person and brings so much positivity wherever she goes. And when she’s not brightening everyone’s day, you can probably find her enjoying one of her favorite things — cookies! 🍪

Ava is currently a senior at Texas A&M University and plans to pursue a career in the healthcare field. We’re so excited to see where this next chapter takes her!

We’re so thankful that Ava has been part of our journey — from patient, to young shadow, to part-time team member. It has been so special watching her grow, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her! 💕🦷

We’re cheering you on, Ava! Gig ’em! 👍🏼🤎
