We are a dental specialty practice focusing solely on endodontics, or root canal therapy. Welcome to Beachwood Endodontic Specialists. Tera E. Drs.

We provide comprehensive patient care in all phases of surgical and non-surgical endodontics. Endodontics, or "root canal therapy," is one of the dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association (ADA) and is the only type of treatment we perform. ABOUT THE DOCTORS:

Steven J. Katz, DDS MS graduated from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy in 1986. He received his Doctorat

e in Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1986 and his Certificate in Endodontics and Master of Science degree from the college in 1988. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics in 2012. Bonar, DMD, MS received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University in 2009. She received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in 2013 and her Certificate in Endodontics and Master of Science degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2015. Katz and Bonar are members of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Greater Cleveland Dental Society and specialist members of the American Association of Endodontists and the Ohio Association of Endodontists.

Introducing the newest member of our team: Dr. Julia Segal!
Dr. Segal received her undergraduate degree from Yeshiva University in 2015. She received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2019 and then completed general practice residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Allentown, PA. She practiced as a general dentist in Philadelphia before receiving her Certificate in Endodontics from Nova Southeastern University in 2024.
