This week, we proudly recognize and celebrate our incredible Dental Assistants for the skill, compassion, and positivity they bring to our office each and every day. From supporting patient care and keeping procedures running smoothly to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment, they are truly the backbone of our team.

Today we celebrated Ice Cream for Breakfast Day in support of those touched by childhood cancer- Because sometimes the sweetest way to start the day is by coming together for something bigger than ourselves.

Our team looks forward to this every year, and once again they showed up in the best way… bringing treats and big hearts to support this important cause. We truly have the most amazing staff!

Help us celebrate Megan’s 20 Year Anniversary with Edgewood Dental!🦷

Since joining our team in 2006, Megan has been such an essential part of our practice. Her dedication to excellence led her to earn her Restorative Expanded Functions certification, expanding her clinical skills and enhancing the care we provide to our patients every day.

Through the years, Megan has grown into many roles. From delivering exceptional chairside support to now welcoming and assisting patients at the front desk, she does it all with professionalism, warmth, and a smile.

Megan, thank you for your loyalty and dedication over the past 20 years! Our patients appreciate you and we are so grateful to work alongside you. Here’s to 20 amazing years and many more ahead!

Edgewood Dental was honored to host Give Kids A Smile, providing over $24,000 in free dental care to underserved children right here in our local Lakes Area.

This is why we do what we do, because every child deserves access to quality dental care and a reason to smile. 😁

🦷 One vision. Half a million smiles. 🦷

This February, dentists across the country are coming together to care for children who need it most—and Edgewood Dental is proud to be hosting Give Kids A Smile® again this year at our office on Friday 2/6/26!

Give Kids A Smile® is a national volunteer program providing free education, preventive, and restorative dental care to children from low-income families. Last year, together with dentists from across the country, we helped more than 300,000 kids—and this year, our goal is even bigger.

We’re honored to be part of this incredible effort and can’t wait to give back to our community once again!

❄️ Do your teeth hurt in cold air?
That quick zing when you step outside during winter isn’t something to ignore- it could be tooth sensitivity.

🦷 Common causes include:
• Worn enamel
• Gum recession
• Small cracks or cavities

✨ What can help:
• Use a toothpaste for sensitive teeth
• Avoid very hot/cold foods back-to-back
• Don’t brush too hard
• Keep up with regular dental checkups

If cold air is causing discomfort, let us know- we’re happy to talk through what might be causing it and recommend next steps at your next visit.
