Halonen Dentistry | Monday–Friday | 32–40 hrs/week (No Fridays in Summer!)

The Role:
We’re seeking an experienced, licensed Dental Hygienist to lead preventive care efforts starting December 1st, as our current hygienist retires. This full time position offers 32–40 hours per week, Monday–Friday. With the exception of October–April, Fridays will be off from May through September, offering excellent seasonal flexibility.
What You’ll Do:
• Deliver comprehensive cleanings, periodontal therapy, oral cancer screenings, and patient education.
• Take digital radiographs, CBCT scans, use Diode lasers and ultrasonic scalers. Nitrous sedation and assisted hygiene procedures with IV sedation.
• Build strong patient relationships, especially with anxious or pediatric patients (as we excel in anxiety relieving and family focused care) .
• Collaborate seamlessly with dentists and staff to coordinate care and uphold our reputation for top quality, comprehensive service.
You Should Have:
• Current MI dental hygiene license.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a practicing hygienist.
• Strong communication skills and a calming, patient-first attitude.
• Comfort in using modern tech: digital X rays, intraoral cameras, Dentrix charting, etc.

• Monday–Friday, 32–40 hrs/week. Friday 8-12:00 (October – April).
